Weather forecast everchanging like the weather. On 28 Sept 2021, I observe the spectacular sky at the Upper Peirce Reservoir. The dramatic appearance of the skyline was rather unexpected. The differences between the brightly lit portion of the sky and the rainy cloud created an unusual visual impact for the image. My concept of utilising the contrast of different colours to capture the amazing image was executed to a great extent.
On 13 10 2021 morning, I came across a group of Long Tailed Macaque at the Upper Peirce Reservoir. Actually they came to the Reservoir quite often. Once again, I managed to capture a number of interesting shots. My perception of this young one obviously persist in breast feeding. Most importantly, both little bright eyes brightly lit by the morning light enhanced the visual impact for the image. To me, the story content is still the most interesting element of the whole image. Simplicity and colour are my main concept in capturing this image of the nature world.
I have been observing the colour of the bark of gum tree at my place. I am aware that gum tree is native to Australia. The colour and texture of the bark is very distinctive to me. The tree actually remind me of many memorable moments. Photographically, I love the features of the tree.
