A Deciding Moment

It is always fun to have an interesting session of kayaking at the Lower Seletar Reservoir. This is truly a heathy sport especially during the Pandemic of Covid-19. For myself, I am satisfied to freeze the peak of moment within a split of second. My concept of capturing the ripples of the water and colourful setting in an image is an important requirement (25 April 2021).

Landscape Of Lower Seletar Reservoir

To me, the environment of the Lower Seletar Reservoir is a pleasing picturesque landscape.
This is especially when the sky is awesome. My perception of this location on 16 June 2021 was a condition with greater visual impact for a landscape image . Once again, I used branches of trees as a framing to compose the image. Having a good framing in the foreground is a prerequisite of increasing sufficient depth for the image. This is one of the principles that I always apply in landscape photography.

Reflections Of Light

My observation of the reflections of light from different window panels was an initial attraction to capture an image. The difference in brightness of lighted panel created an interesting pattern of light and colours. Such an image would have to be captured with a proper vantage angle. In this case I was shooting across the panels from a parallel angle of another building (20 June 2021).
