Gorgeous Colours Of Dawn

I have been fascinated with the colourful cloud reflections at the Lower Seletar Reservoir all this while. This particular image is no exception. On 15 June 2021, I was again attracted by another spectacular reflections at the reservoir. It was hardly 7:00 am and the rising sun had again gave a very strong colour touch on the amazing cloud pattern. One good thing that I like, is the pattern and colours of the cloud would never be the same. Capturing such a gorgeous image is a greater satisfaction for my photographic practice.

Gorgeous Reflections

My perception is always in an alert mode whenever I am searching an image to capture. On 03 June 2021, I spotted a vibrant colour reflections while I was shooting another image along the Heritage Bridge of the Lower Seletar Reservoir. My observation was drawn to the combination of strong pattern and lines of the reflections. I was fortunate to have the additional vibrant colour reflections of the people by the edge of the water. My orientation immediately followed the initial observation and finally another colourful landscape image being captured.

Did I using a drone to capture this image?

Actually I was at the 12th storey of a flat overlooking the Lower Seletar Reservoir on 20 June 2021. A vantage angle that I have been eyeing all this while. During my visit, I was attracted by the lovely cloud reflections on the surface of the water. The restriction of outdoor sport activity due to Covid-19 was just lifted recently. Hence, I was fortunate to have the boat rowing into my sight adding as a centre of interest into such a pleasing scene. Such an image is the result of turning my conception into reality on capturing the final image.
