To me, ripples continuously formed was not a common sight. Especially happened right at the awesome reflections of the cloud. The vibrant colours and the details of the reflections attracted me to capture this image. The richness and detail of the reflections generated a greater impact for the visual image.
I anticipated such a happening first thing in the morning when I gone back to the Lower Peirce Reservoir this morning (10 05 2021). After perusing the environment, I decided to use a high vantage angle to capture this image. Waited for the decisive moment to freeze the action was the next thing that I had in mind. I like the pattern and details of the of the final image. Though the morning light was still very soft, the sufficient high light and contrast still provided a greater visual impact for the image.
From my vantage angle, I like the colour and lines of the boat. Both items formed a very strong composition for this colourful image. That is what I have been observing by the side of water at the Lower Seletar Reservoir on 11 05 2021. The whole idea in mind was to create a simple white background that enhanced the vibrant colours and lines of the image. The image thus captured is a study of design and pattern with a greater visual impact. “Feel Free” is the text on the boat. You really have to feel free to capture such an image.
