Brewing Storm

The ever changing of nature is eye catching. To me, to capture the spectacular image of nature within the split of second is challenging. Once again, to be in the right place at the right time is essential for a good image. I like the dramatic visual impact of this image. The spur moment of the changing sky is hard to come by.
The Jewel at the Changi Airport is one of the latest attractions in Singapore. The Individual perception of the display for photography varies from your vantage angle. For myself, I love to capture the fountain display and transform into a surrealistic image. The dreamlike effect of the end result is up to you to interpret. This image is my contribution (by invitation) to the 21st Ngee Ann National Teochew Artists’ Exhibition 2019. The Exhibition is from 21st November-1st December 2019 at The Ngee Ann Kongsi Galleries 1 & 2 NAFA Campus 1.
To me, the attraction of The Heart, Marina One, Singapore is strongly based on the beauty of lines and forms. Certainly, the building itself is a masterpiece of the architect. The planting of the trees within the compound obviously has taken the greenery of the environment into consideration. For architectural photography, I think the lighting effect is essential for the entire image. I captured this image from my vantage angle with the emphasis on the aesthetic value of the structure. I like the distortion of the building from the lower angle captured with a wide-angle lens that created a greater visual impact.
