Tulipmania 2019 of the Gardens By The Bay is just over. It is my annual visit to shoot the flora. This image of NSSS Tulipa that I captured, I deliberately used the bokeh effect to single out the flora in the foreground. This is one of the common technique that I frequently use to capture the main flora in focus.
While waiting for a free tram ride in the vibrant city of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, I captured this image of my shadow. I waited for the bright yellow vehicle to come into the frame to achieve a good colour contrast. Using a slow shutter speed setting to blur the moving vehicle is intentional.
I was attracted by the simple design of the staircase. Later, I found out the location is the site of the School of Art, RMIT, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. No wonder, the artistic touch of the design is very obvious. Actually, there is plenty of attractive design of the staircase in the world. It is up to you to admire and enjoy the structure.
