During my visit to the Hosier Lane Street Art, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, I was attracted to capture this colourful image. Actually, I was waiting to capture the artwork of the street. But they refused to budge. Finally, the different body language of both people attracted me to capture this story telling image.
Right opposite the hotel that I was staying in Melbourne is the beautiful Flagstaff Gardens. Though is summertime, the blooming tree in the gardens beautifully lit by the afternoon light attracted me to capture this image. I deliberately distorted the image with a wide-angle lens to emphasize the magnitude of a tree with the blooming flowers.
To me, a visit to the Queen Victoria Market, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, would not be disappointed in searching subject for candid photography. To look for a new perspective is my challenge of capturing this image. I finally decided to use a mirror image to add life to this static colourful display of the merchandise items.
