The lxobrychus in the heron family is always in focus when they are searching for food. Usually they are among the Lalang in the water area. I was fortunate to find one at the Bishan Park on 24 03 2023. The posture of the bird seen from my vantage angle was just ideal for the image that I had in mind.
White water hen is an early bird that searching for food at dawn. On 06 04 2023 at Bishan Park, from my vantage angle I captured the bird in action. Anticipating the bird moving into the right direction is a prerequisite of capturing a good image. The soft lighting at dawn provided adequate lighting for the image.
On 22 03 2023 at the Bishan Park, the posture of the heron prior flying off was attractive for my vantage angle. I like the heron that standing tall on the simple branch against the pleasing blue of the sky. A simple and yet striking image that I captured early in the morning.
