Disperse Light Of A Setting Sun

My visit to the Upper Seletar Reservoir on Christmas Day 2020, was a fruitful evening with an extra-ordinately image of landscape. The brewing thunderstorms did not happen. The sun set was not really spectacular either. But the evening dispersing light from the clouds was eye catching. Though the scene was not a spectacular one that I ever seen, I just had to satisfy what I managed to capture. Perhaps, that was a landscape image that appearing on an auspicious day.

Vibrant Colour of The Landscape

Eyeing for a different perspective of capturing the landscape of the Lower Seletar Reservoir, I finally managed on 26 June 2021. The perception was from the height of 12th storey building opposite the Reservoir. My fascination was the colourful reflections of the water. I was fortunate to have the fine calm weather to capture another image with strong visual impact.

The Wood Of Rain Tree Valley

On 20 July 2021, I decided to explore the area near the condo where I am staying at the moment. Actually, I have been capturing the image of rain trees from my windows for the past one and half years. The morning walk in the field ended up with a number of new images. One of the images that I like is shown here. My peruse of the dried trunk laid on the ground oriented me to use a low vantage angle to capture the image of the trunk against the back drop of silhouette of the rain trees. I don’t understand where is the dried leaf came from. But the remaining colours of the leaf and the unusual shape of the dried trunk attracted me. From my selected perspective, I think I have captured an image with strong visual impact.
