I came across this simple arrangement while I was visiting Guangzhou, China in September 2017. To me, it is my study of pattern, lines and forms in photography. The pleasing grey also blended well with the backdrops. Once again, it is my perception of ordinary objectss in our daily life.
On 05 Nov 2020 morning, I was attracted by the colour of dragon boat and the reflection at the Lower Seletar Reservoir. The brilliant morning lighting lit up the subject in full force. The calm water in the morning floated the boat with beautiful reflection. To sum up my observation in that morning, I just loved the saturation of colour of the whole setting.
When I went back to Nan Ao Island, Shantou, China in 2019, I captured this image near the pier. The lovely green sea water and the blue sky attracted me at the first sight. The fishing boat leaving the island added the storey content to this image. To me it is an image that suits my photo travel collections. The bridge and the lighthouse in the backdrop clearly indicated the identification of the island. I was very pleased to have the setting to start my visit of this island again first thing in the morning.
