It was another rewarding morning for me at the Lower Seletar Reservoir. When I searched around along the edge of water area, I captured this interesting image of the nature world. I was fortunate to have the brilliant morning light and the clean backdrop for this close up. To me, it is an interesting sight for this wonderful world of nature. Able to capture the decisive moment is a challenge for me.
To me, the challenge of this image is to freeze the image of the reflections on the water. The end result is to have captured the form, colour and pattern of an illusion. Such an image is not able to repeat. The prerequisite is to visualize the image and decided on a right setting coupling with the speed of the water movement. This is an image that I captured during my visit to Hoi An, Vietnam, in 2018.
I captured this image at The Gardens By The Bay in 2014. I like the pattern and lines of the architecture. Fortunate to have a colourful worker to be in the frame as the centre of interest for the image. Most importantly, is to freeze the decisive moment of the action at the most strong location for the composition.
