An old subject at one time was a hot favorite. I came across this image during my visit to Ho Chi Minh City,South Vietnam in March.
I like the variation of the pattern. The colour of the image definitely plays a part. The smoke emitting from one of the coil added interest to the picture.
I have been to St Ann’s Square, Manchester many times. Every trip I made previously was always crowded with people. My recent visit was different. The place appeared to be deserted. To capture such an image, I think you have to be there early before the tourist coming. But I was much attracted by the quality of light. It is so nice for me to paint another image with light. When I posted “Anybody There”, I did mention that the 16th century Scottish architecture is very unique in Kirkcaldy, on the east coast of Scotland. This was what I captured during my visit. You could imagine if the image were without the lamp, the visual impact would be different.
