Gushing Wave of Gili Trawangan

One of itineraries of 2011 Nusantara Photo Club Annual Meeting is a trip to Gili Trawangan, Lombok. The island actually is flooded with tourists who are fond of seaside and outdoor life. It is unusual to find this quiet corner of the coast where you could enjoy the sound and rhythm of waves. Surely, I prefer to use a slow shutter speed to capture the beauty of the gushing wave in contrast of the dead wood branch. The result of such approach is an image with a greater visual impact.

  1. Great one Mr. Tan. It is one of the things we (at least people in Lombok) see everyday, but never had the thought of capturing it. It must have been taken on the other side of Trawangan, when you go around the small island with the Cidomo.

  2. Dear Pak Heru,

Thanks for browsing and your comment. Yes, I was enjoying my trip on Cidomo. Stop on the way when I discovered this scene was attractive for me to create an image. Watch up for more image of Lombok on this site! Many thanks for your arrangement for our trip. Best regards,
