I think if this image had been without the aesthetics of lines, colours and form, the composition would have been much weaker. This is another image of terrace fields that I captured during my visit to Bali, October 2003.

Good Composition
Dear Mr Tan,
With the back lighting, the difference in height of the terraces produced strong contrasting lines and enhanced the image. I wish I could photograph images like this.
