Right opposite the hotel that I was staying in Melbourne is the beautiful Flagstaff Gardens. Though is summertime, the blooming tree in the gardens beautifully lit by the afternoon light attracted me to capture this image. I deliberately distorted the image with a wide-angle lens to emphasize the magnitude of a tree with the blooming flowers.
To me, a visit to the Queen Victoria Market, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, would not be disappointed in searching subject for candid photography. To look for a new perspective is my challenge of capturing this image. I finally decided to use a mirror image to add life to this static colourful display of the merchandise items.
To me, playing a game of chess in the State Library of Victoria, Melbourne, Australia, obviously is an enjoyment especially on a hot day of summer. An environment conducive for playing chess is hard to come by in a vibrant city. Have you notice that Chinese Chess is also available in this beautiful State Library?
