Happy 2018! The last three months have seen an upheaval in our schedules yet once again with the arrival of our second child. My sincere apologies for the lack of updates to this photoblog. Hopefully, I will get more time to update this site as 2018 progresses on… Stay tuned 😛
Another post from the Salford Quays area… Shooting into the sun is never easy with the high contrast involved. For this shot, I decided to make the bright morning sun part of the focus and composition. Using a small aperture helped to create a starburst effect to what would otherwise been a bright over-exposed orb.
One of the things I have learnt about taking pictures at a parade is not to concentrate too much on the parade but instead, to put my focus on the audience at the parade. There are lots of interesting candid moments to catch such as this one that I managed to get 🙂 Taken on our family holiday to Hong Kong in November 2016.
