Goodbye 2014, and Welcome 2015!
This photoblog has been extremely quiet for 2014 although I have taken close to 4,000 pictures! The bulk of them were of my son who has just celebrated his first birthday. These pictures will remain in the family album and on my personal Facebook page for sharing with family and friends for now. Wishing that you’ve had a fruitful 2014 and all the very best for the incoming new year! I hope to post more on this blog in 2015…
Dusky Waves At Tanah Lot
We had a chance to do some “milky waves” photography at the coast of Tanah Lot. Many photographers achieve this effect with use of 10-stop ND filters. For us, we just used the waning light of dusk to achieve the long exposure times we wanted. I have converted the monochromatic blue glow of the original to the sepia-toned, high contrast version above.
