Step By Step Up To The Opera House
Another of the shots that I took in the brilliant evening lighting at the Sydney Opera House. For this particular one, I had to apply selective darkening / gradient filtering to the sky to bring out the colours and details in the clouds. I like the unusual perspective I managed to achieve in the end.
Diving Through Shoppers’ Paradise
I am back from a short trip to the United Arab Emirates. Travelling from Abu Dhabi to Dubai after a work-related conference, I had a chance to visit Dubai Mall, at present, “the world’s largest shopping mall based on total area”. This shot was taken at the Dubal Mall Waterfall. I had CY walk up and down the mall to help with the “passer-by shadow effect”. An additional shopper who passed by provided the additional shadow figure that completed the shot nicely.
