The Singapore Flyer finally opened for business at the beginning of this month and has been generating a fair amount of buzz in the news. I visited the Flyer for photography some time back and made a repeat trip earlier this year. The skies were definitely a little bit more promising for photography on my second trip.
What can a visit to the South Island of New Zealand be without a journey to the famed Fiordland region of Milford Sound? Despite the weather and the mid-day lighting which was less than ideal for landscape photography, we still managed some good pictures during our Milford Sound cruise. I like the “layers” of mountains as well as the brooding skies of this particular one.
Taken from almost the same viewpoint in my dad’s post, this is another version of one of the Moeraki Boulders that we saw on our trip to New Zealand. There is a palpable difference in the white balance settings that we used (probably as a result of the different camera systems we were using as well as differences in post-processing).
