Taken during my trip to Changi Jetty over the weekend. This particular one reminded me of the classic Lode Runner game I used to play years ago on the Apple II! I have done some post-processing/desaturation to emphasize the action a little wee bit more 🙂
I made a recce trip today to Changi Coast Road to see what photo opportunities were available but ended up at Changi Jetty yet again. Just when I was about to leave for good, a group of canoeists lined their canoes by the beach prior to their practice. The strong sunlight and patterns of the canoes caught my attention for this close-up, almost-abstract shot. I have converted the original to a sepia-toned monochrome shot to emphasize the strong patterns and lines.
The 3rd Ngee Ann Photographic Exhibition will be held from 23 March to 8 April this year. I have taken part in the two previous Ngee Ann exhibitions in 2005 and 2006. For this year’s entry, I intend to submit a series of pictures taken from my Mount Bromo trip last year.
The above is one of the pictures that I am submitting. This was taken at the Savana area in the Tenggar Caldera. I like the way the trees were dramatically lit at sunrise.
