The dried tree silhouette at the edge of water of the Upper Peirce Reservoir always attracted me. Simple due to its shape and lines of the tree. Actually, I have captured a number of images at the same location. However, on 08 Oct 2021 I have captured another image with greater visual impact. The person in action together with the trees added to form an interesting image.
Most importantly, the pattern of the golden lighted ripples formed on a split of second topped the list of visual impact.

Pattern and Design Of A Structure

Capturing pattern and lines are my preference in photography. Architecture design is one of good subject for such a study. The perception for a strong visual impact has to be from a vantage angle. Observing Perfect lighting is also another important requirement. This is an image that I captured at the Marina Bay in 2019.

When I Fall In Love

The parallel lines of the steps formed a strong pattern for the composition of the image. The interesting post of the couples added a perfect story content. Most importantly, the high light touched on the subject achieved a greater visual impact for the image. A photo travel image that I captured during my visit to the Opera House, Sydney, Australia in 2009.
