To me, observing a misty landscape at the Upper Peirce Reservoir on 26 Oct 2021 was a tranquil mood to enjoy. The vibrant colour of the cloudy sky combining with the rising sun further enhanced the image with greater visual impact. Most importantly, the bird soars in the sky added interest to this spectacular image of the Reservoir. My perception of these features were the concept for capturing the image within a split of a second.
The vibrant cloud pattern and colour of the sky at dawn can be very spectacular when the weather is just right. On 07 Oct 2021 at the Upper Peirce Reservoir, I witnessed another landscape with such formation. I think the fantastic phenomenon is a sight to be enjoyed first thing in the morning. An image that I have captured in the right place at the right time.
My fascination of ripples on the surface of water is endless. Simply, the pattern of the ripples is very strong and pleasing to observe. My observation of the trees in silhouette as an image framing formed a basic composition. Combining with the bird in fight and the colour of the water was an interesting image for me to capture within a split of a second. I love this simple image captured at the Upper Peirce Reservoir on 12 Oct 2021.
