To shoot against the sunlight is always a challenge to me. This image that I captured at the Webb Bridge, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia was what I pleased to have. I think the effect of light and shade has created a strong visual impact for the image.
Strolling along the Harbour Esplanade of Melbourne, Docklands, Victoria, Australia, I was attracted by the unique buildings of the area. I think the modern buildings of this vibrant city are attractive due to their character. I was fortunate to have a blue sky as a backdrop of this architecture photography.
Right opposite the hotel that I was staying in Melbourne is the beautiful Flagstaff Gardens. Though is summertime, the blooming tree in the gardens beautifully lit by the afternoon light attracted me to capture this image. I deliberately distorted the image with a wide-angle lens to emphasize the magnitude of a tree with the blooming flowers.
