On The Way To Maintain

I have been observing the different height of tress at this location of Upper Peirce Reservoir.
Simply, I love the composition of the tress from my vantage angle. To date, expecting a colourful sky as a backdrop of the image has never happened. The soft lighting from the overcast sky on 17 Aug 2021, has not deterred me to capture this image in monochrome mode. Most important, the maintaining vehicle came into the right position to add interest to the image. Besides capturing the moment within a split of a second, I love the richness of the tonal range of the final monochromatic image.

A Symbolic Cloud In The Sky

I captured this image almost immediately after I captured “Spectacular Cloud Formation In The Sky” at the Lower Seletar Reservoir.. I was fascinated to observe this interesting symbolic cloud in the sky. The wonder of nature is very unpredictable. The interpretation of such a phenomenon , to me is very individual. I admire and enjoy watching the ever changing landscape in the world of nature. The excitement of able to capture such a landscape image is beyond my word of descriptions. Someone ever said openly in a live presentation webinar of the National Museum recently that “Landscape image could be re-shoot”. Do you agree?

Spectacular Cloud Formation

I captured another image of spectacular cloud formation on 31 Dec 2020 at the Lower Seletar Reservoir. I was fortunate to encounter such an amazing landscape first thing in the morning. My perception of vibrant colours and strong pattern of the sky orientated me to capture the image with a great visual impact. The warmest colour of the rising sun in contrast with the blue and white pattern of the sky was hard to come by. Perhaps was another lucky day for me to close the year of 2020 with success and ready to welcome 2021!
