Amazing Sun Rise At The Rain Tree Valley

My fascination with sun rise is endless. To find a clear horizon and capture the brilliant sunrise is not an easy task. On 27 July 2021, I managed to locate a slope of an open field at the Rain Tree Valley. I utilized the silhouette of rain trees as a framing against the clear sky as a backdrop of the image. To me, is a simple approach to capture the amazing sunrise. The concept and perception are important key factors for capturing such an image. Most importantly, the weather condition has to be exceptionally fine for me in capturing this simple landscape image.

Dark Clouds Gathered In The Sky

I captured this image of Upper Seletar Reservoir almost at the same time of “Dispersing Light Of A Landscape” on Christmas day, 2020. My perception for this image was more on the clouds pattern together with the dispersing light. Using a wide-angle lens on the camera for this image captured a total different visual impact. This is also one of my principles of practicing photography as a passion. Which image you like best perhaps is just a personal preference.

Disperse Light Of A Setting Sun

My visit to the Upper Seletar Reservoir on Christmas Day 2020, was a fruitful evening with an extra-ordinately image of landscape. The brewing thunderstorms did not happen. The sun set was not really spectacular either. But the evening dispersing light from the clouds was eye catching. Though the scene was not a spectacular one that I ever seen, I just had to satisfy what I managed to capture. Perhaps, that was a landscape image that appearing on an auspicious day.
