A Postcard From Paris

We are back from a short trip to Paris, France, courtesy of a cheap last-minute deal I found online just a couple of weeks ago. Travelling to Paris via the Eurostar was a breeze. The weather was nice and cool although the generally cloudy conditions meant that good photographic opportunities were harder to come by. I waited the whole morning on the rooftop terrace of the Galeries Lafayette (at Boulevard Haussmann) for the fog to clear so that I could get an unobstructed view of the Eiffel Tower. It was only after lunch that I finally got the light and view that I was hoping for.
