Paris has many nicknames, but its most famous is “La Ville-Lumière” (“The City of Light” or “The Illuminated City”), a name it owes first to its fame as a centre of education and ideas during the Age of Enlightenment, and later to its early adoption of street lighting. — Wikipedia

What would a visit to the City of Light be without a visit to the top of the Eiffel Tower at dusk? We were lucky to get clear views when we made our way up that evening as the summit was shrouded in fog earlier in the day.
